Princess Julie's room

Here is the progression of the portrait of my client's daughter Julie who is 5, in a princess
dress with her crown. Also being added to her room will be an old world scroll in parchment
paper and a large window scene with cinderella's castle and castle grounds in the
distance... with blooming trees and white horses in the pasture.
Check back for photos this week and next as I work on this fun room!

Thursday progress...

Frame work drawn out... background painted in ... castle drawn and ready to paint on monday.

Monday I did the castle... got one steeple a bit crooked... so blotted it out and will start with that tomorrow.

Tuesday started on the grounds

Not done yet... Will probably mess with that willow tree a bit more... and put a bit more detail in the foothills in the back
need to work out the greens a bit... ad the butterfly on the windowsill, and do the veining in the frame and shadowing... will finish up on Thursday.

Well another day and still not done but alot closer!!... Just a few details to finish up tomorrow...and should be done tomorrow.

 

Here is the completed project below. Finished now. Thankyou Melinda and Dale Lauber for a great piece to add to my portfolio!
