The Shire Boys

This is Shine the daddy shire... he is a gelding now. We have owned him for three years and he now rides.
I would call him greenbroke and very light in the mouth. Wonderful to ride very smooth. I have
harnessed him and ground drove him the first year we had him but then as he put back his weight...I dont have
a collar that fits him anymore. I do not think he is trained to drive from the past. We estimate him
being 15-17 years old. He is a doll to brush & be around. Stands
very steady. Gets along well with other horses(not dominant)... even our little mini/shetland pony...
who is his pal. He is very well mannered. Shine is 16.2H

Below is Duelly. He is Shine's son.. and he is 3 this year. I have done all the ground work with him.
He ground drives nice... and I have groundriven him team with Kaesi my belgian mare. He has also pulled
the tire and the harrow and hooked to the training cart this spring. He needs more time doing these things
but he stops on the first whoa...and stands steady. He is greenbroke to drive team...had not been driven
single...just ground driven. He has a great in your pocket temperment as he was an orphan at 2 mos.
We raised him here with lots of love and affection. He would be easily trick trained as he is eager to
learn and curious and smart. He is starting to come together nicely and would make an awesome dressage
prosepct... His father floats across the ground and once Duelly is done growing I think he will move like
his daddy. Duelly is 16.2H and still growing. Needs his body to catch up to his legs!
